The Hunger Games Trailer shows rebellion and the leader is trying desperatly to keep the peace. The film is called catching fire and their is lots of fire and water. There are flags catching fire.

Horror Movies Analysis

Mama: Very dark, shows struggle between the woman and the girls, odd creatures and children.

The Conjuring: 'Based on a True Story', dark, lots of screaming which brings on fear.

The Devil's Backbone: Reviews, dark, shocks.

Orphan: Lots of jump cuts, dark, cuts before an interesting scene, fire symbolises hell.

Darkness is a icon for the horror genre.

Byzantium Trailer

The narrative of the film is that there is a vampire girl who is trying to resist her urges of sucking peoples blood so she can live in peace but everywhere she goes she gets rejected and the temptation of human blood is too much. In the trailer this is shown because Ella says to someone "I'm sorry for what I must do." Also the people show the vampire brotherhood with a no girls allowed rule. The genre is fantasy because vampires are not real.

             Flowers- symbolises goodness in bad places

             Isolating the girl because she is different

 

 

Sound: Glass Shatters when she is stressed, loud, teens shout when stressed.

            Drums to build tension

 

 

Titles and Editing: Short snappy pieces of text to tell the story but not bore the audience.

This trailer is for Despicable Me 2 and it is a funny family film. The title makes this movie seem like a gangster film, but it is very different.
